Die Streichergruppen der Vienna Instruments bieten eine extrem breite Palette an Spielweisen. Den speziellen Eigenheiten dieser Klangkörper wird durch eine Vielzahl an Performances Rechnung getragen. Besonders bei größeren Ensembles kommt der Random-Effekt von Artikulationen wie Performance Triller oder schnelle Legati besonders zur Geltung und verleiht diesen Performance-Patches unter dem Dirigat der neuen Performance-Algorithmen besondere Authentizität. Je größer das Ensemble, desto intensiver der Random-Effekt, also die natürliche "Unexaktheit" unter den einzelnen Musikern beim Wechsel von einem Ton zum nächsten. Dieser Effekt wird besonders auch bei den "Repetition Performances Pizzicati" berücksichtigt, eine Innovation, die es nur bei den großen Streichergruppen gibt und die in zwei verschiedenen Tempi aufgenommen wurde.
